About Wulf Johannsen
The familiy business Wulf Johannsen KG GmbH & Co. was founded in 1932 and is run today in the fourth generation by the managing director Jan-Willem Storm.
About 70 employees are working in the two factories in Kiel and in the northern part of germany. Also our service technicians are sent out world wide to work on site.
Our 4 service centers
- ECOS® Service Center Stationary Power and Energy Systems (gas engines, CHP plants, biogas engines)
- MOBIS® Service Center for Mobile and Marine Power Systems (Diesel engines)
- PRODIS® Service Center of Engines and mechanical Machining Components (mechanical machining and fabrication)
- IQ-Parts® Service Center Engine Spare Parts (engines, pumps and spare parts)
are working with the intention to provide flexible and highly qualified service.
To meet these demands, we employ highly skilled personnel and top quality machines.
Without our employees, their know-how and commitment, Wulf Johannsen would not be the same.
Therefore we set a high value on extensive and coninuous training.
The satisfaction of all employees and the investment in our employees is also one of our most important basic principles.
Quality and Training
The certifications and approvals received are awards and challenges at the same time: they require the continuous implementation of the set requirements in daily work. This includes the continuous renewal and monitoring of our high-quality production and machining equipment as well as the tools we use.
The most important backbone of our business are our qualified and committed employees. In order to comprehensively deal with the questions of our customers, we train our employees to meet the requirements to a very high degree. This includes that many of our employees receive a double qualification as mechanical and electrical service specialists. As a manufacturer-independent service provider, we also qualify our employees for machining engines of different brands and types. In this way, we are already much more capable of finding solutions than many of our competitors in the service business.
In order to maintain and secure this high level in the long term and to familiarise new employees with our quality standards, all employees regularly take part in our internal training and education program. This includes training on the basic topics of safety and environmental protection, practice training and testing for high-quality and reproducible work, as well as tutorials to familiarise employees with new technologies and engine types.
